GOT QUESTIONS?
What is a UPI handle?
A UPI handle is a unique identifier for a bank in the UPI system. It's the part after @ in a UPI ID (e.g., @oksbi for SBI, @okhdfc for HDFC Bank).
How do I find my bank's UPI handle?
You can find your bank's UPI handle in the list above. It's also shown in your UPI app when you add a bank account. The handle is usually @ok followed by a short form of your bank name.
Can I use any UPI app with any bank?
Yes! UPI is interoperable. You can use Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, or any UPI app to send money to any bank. Just enter the correct UPI handle.
UPI ID vs UPI handle — what's the difference?
UPI ID is your complete payment address (e.g., 9876543210@oksbi). UPI handle is just the bank part (@oksbi). Your UPI ID = your mobile/username + UPI handle.
